"Captain Rayn!" Tori screamed, trying to get the attention of their captain. He quickly turned around in time to see Tori and Mykael barely jump for safety. The Hybrid Chaser rammed straight into the side of the building, crashing into it completely. Without hesitation, Captain Rayn jumped in front of his two Outriders, and drew out his sword.
"I am going to distract it, while you two carry Captain Grae to the bus! Is that understood?" He ordered. However, when the two Outriders turned to see that Captain Grae's body was missing. There were no Chasers nearby, nor any sign of blood.
"Captain! She's gone!" Mykael said. Captain Rayn turned to see that she was no longer in her spot. 'Did the Reaper from before take her?' He thought. Just as his fear reached a boiling point, the Hybrid Chaser let out a painful whine. The three turned around to see the Chaser emerging from the wrecked building. There was white ooze coming from different parts of its body. There was a large gaping hole where its eye used to be. The Hybrid Chaser was fuming with rage.
It began revving itself, preparing to charge at the group. Captain Rayn couldn't move; he was stuck there. The two Outriders were no match for it, and without Grae, he knew it would be difficult for him. And with his mind racing about her current location, he wasn't focused as he should be. If he wasn't careful, they would all be killed.
Just as the Hybrid Chaser began to charge, Captain Rayn felt something tug at his side, where he kept his gun. He turned to see Captain Grae pulling at his gun and extra clips. Her helmet was off, revealing fresh blood coming from the crown of her head. Her short pixie haircut was caked with mud and debris. But her eyes remained fierce as she looked directly at the Hybrid.
She was examining it; looking closely at every nook and cranny. She had the ability to detect a weak point in even the smallest Chaser...even Reaper.
Before Grae could reveal anything, the Hybrid Chaser crashed into the group. All four managed to jump out of the way, landing painfully to the ground. Grae and Rayn got to their feet first, Tori and Mykael followed afterwards.
"Ray...please give me the gun…" Grae demanded. He looked at her with a mix of concern and anger.
"Grae, just tell me where to shoot! You are injured!" Rayn yelled in response.
"Ray, please! Don't argue with me! Please jus-" Grae was cut off by the Hybrid Chasers' tongue grabbing a hold of her. It lifted her above its mouth, repeating the same movements as before. As its mouth began to widen, Captain Rayn grabbed his gun and an extra clip, and began shooting towards it's open mouth and tongue, making sure to avoid Grae.
Captain Grae, however, still had access of her legs. She placed the tips of her boots on the edge of its large teeth. She began to push the mouth apart, until she saw what she was looking for. Captain Grae had managed to free one hand, but at a cost. The Hybrid Chaser began to squeeze her harder.
"Ray please...your gun…" Grae pleaded. Her face began to turn red as the Hybrid squeezed the life out of her.
Rayn couldn't help but feel anguish and turmoil. He hated the situation, and the fact that he was of no help once again. But he couldn't wait anymore; she would die. Without waiting another second, he tossed his loaded gun to her.
She caught it, and aimed it inside its mouth. "Open wide bitch!"

"Is that an old woman?" Auto asked. The elderly woman from before stumbled to the front of the bus. She was covered in blood, and had a glazed look in her eyes. She was holding something unknown close to her chest.
"Who the hell is that?" The young female Outrider asked.
"I don't care who it is. Do not let her on the bus. If she gets aggressive, kill her." The older female Outrider ordered.
"She is with us." The male civilians said slowly, unsure of the reaction he would get. The older female slowly turned so that she met him eye to eye.
"Did I ask you?" She asked blatantly. "I'm not even sure we are going to keep you guys alive, or drop you off somewhere. So there is no need to add anyone else."
The civilian's faces grew pale at the sound of their unknown fate. They had thought there may have been a sliver of hope, and that they would be saved. He looked towards Ron and Mike, hoping to see some reaction from them. However, they looked towards the floor, refusing to look up and address the awkward atmosphere. The young female civilian became angry.
"Why the hell did you guys take us from there if you weren't going to save us!" She asked. Everyone ignored her, and kept focus towards the front. The elderly woman came to the door and began banging it.
"This bitch is getting annoying." Auto said. The older female Outrider came right behind him.
"She isn't the only annoying bitch here." She said loudly. The female civilian heard her comment.
"I've had just about enough of you motherfuckers!" She said, as she charged towards the Outriders. Just as she was about to reach them, the older female Outrider drew out her sword and held it against her neck. Everything happened so quickly, that the civilian didn't even notice the line of blood coming from her neck.
"Do you want to say that again?" The older female Outrider said menacingly. The air felt silent for a few minutes. All of a sudden, the front door flew open, revealing Captain Rayn carrying Captain Grae, followed by Tori and Mykael, and the elderly woman.
"Drive!" Captain Rayn ordered Auto.
